Dr. Tarek (Ty) Sayed, DPM joins Podiatry Care Specialists, after completing his foot and ankle surgical residency at Crozer Chester Medical Center as the Chief Resident. The Crozer Chester program is a Premier Podiatric Surgical Residency spanning 5 hospitals across Chester and Delaware Counties in the greater Philadelphia region.

Serving as Chief Resident, Dr. Sayed's training consisted of in-depth expertise in both elective and non-elective cases, treating all aspects of the foot and ankle. Dr. Sayed is extensively trained in sports medicine, diabetic limb salvage, forefoot and rearfoot surgery, pediatric care, endoscopic technique, and complex deformity correction. Dr. Sayed completed a pediatric orthopedic rotation at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Maryland.

After growing up in Delaware County, Dr. Sayed, graduated from Temple University with a bachelor's degree in Biology. Having played soccer all of his life, and experiencing many of the foot and ankle injuries himself, Dr. Sayed came across the exciting field of Podiatry. Dr. Sayed began the path to becoming a podiatrist in 2013 at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Sayed was born in Cairo, Egypt and relocated with his family when he was 9 years old to Delaware County. Dr. Sayed is fluent in Arabic. He enjoys staying active by continuing his love for soccer and the outdoors with his wife Nicole, and their dog Jack. Dr. Sayed's other hobbies include cooking, singing, and traveling with his family. He is very excited to be part of Podiatry Care Specialists and to be able to give back to the community close to where he grew up.
