Dr. Caitlin Mahan Madden is excited to be a part of Podiatry Care Specialists, PC. A South Jersey native, Dr. Madden learned about podiatry from her father, a podiatric surgeon who often let her tag along to conferences. She left the East Coast to attend the University of Notre Dame, where she was a member of the Honors Program and earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. From there it was back to Philadelphia, where she received her DPM degree in 2011 from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. In 2015, Dr. Madden completed an extensive four-year surgical residency at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where she received training in foot and ankle reconstruction, trauma, and limb salvage. After residency she joined a group practice in Maryland, but even after a rewarding three years of helping patients and building relationships she can't seem to stay away from Philly. Dr. Madden and her husband and son are glad to be back. Dr. Madden recently passed her boards to become Board Certified in Foot Surgery.
Dr. Madden's professional interests include trauma, reconstructive surgery, and education. She has been a guest speaker for the Podiatry Institute and enjoys teaching students and residents. She enjoys reading, singing, and quilting, and she always appreciates book recommendations. She is committed to working with her patients as a team to help them return to full and active lives.
