Dr. Saltzman joins Podiatry Care Specialists, PC after completing a four-year foot and ankle residency program at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, specializing in Limb Salvage, Reconstructive Surgery and Trauma.  Born and raised in southern New Jersey, she discovered her love for podiatric medicine and surgery after suffering a number of her own foot and ankle injuries as a high school soccer player and hurdler.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science at the University of Maryland – College Park and spent a semester abroad studying at the National University of Ireland in Galway, Ireland.  She went on to attend Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Her professional interests include all aspects of foot and ankle medicine and surgery, more specifically sports medicine and foot and ankle reconstruction.

Dr. Saltzman recently was the lead author on a scientific poster on viral resurgence in patient's with Kaposi's Sarcoma at the annual conference for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.  She also was given the privilege to lecture at the 2016 Podiatry Institute's Insights and Advancements in Foot and Ankle Surgery Conference.

Dr. Saltzman's personal interests include spending time with her family and friends, staying active, cooking and watching sports.  She also has a passion for animal rescue efforts. She currently resides in West Chester with her husband, Ryan and their two dogs and two cats.  She has fallen in love with the local area and is excited to give back to the community she calls home.  She is dedicated to both educating her patients about their foot and ankle conditions and helping them get back on their feet as quickly as possible.
